Veteran Hollywood actor, Robert Guillaume, has died at the age of 89.
The actor who is best known for his role in popular TV series “Benson,” is said to have died at his Los Angeles home on Tuesday after a protracted battle with prostate cancer.
His wife, Donna Guillaume, speaking on her husband’s demise said, ‘he kinda went the way everyone wishes they could, surrounded by love and in his sleep”.
She also noted that her husband enjoyed making music, and making others laugh adding that his role as Rafiki in the 1994 Disney animated film “The Lion King,” was his most treasured.
The actor is survived by a wife and four children. May his soul rest in peace
