Anambra Election: Yul Edochie denies stepping down for Obiano; threatens legal action

Nollywood actor and the candidate of the Democratic People’s Congress, DPC, in the Anambra governorship election, Yul Edochie, has denied reports that he had endorsed the incumbent governor of Anambra state, Willie Obiano.

Yul Edochie took to Twitter to deny the claims insisting he was still in the race and has not stepped down for Mr. Obiano.

According to Mr. Edochie the video circulating online show him appearing to back down for Mr. Obiano was taken two years ago.

He has further threatened to take legal action if the video is not removed from the internet

Voting for the Anambra governorship election which has 37 candidates running for the number one seat in the state, has ended at many polling centres and the counting of votes has commenced.
