Anthony Joshua retains Heavyweight title after defeating Takam in Cardiff

Nigerian born British heavyweight boxer, Anthony Joshua retained his WBA ‘super’ and IBF heavyweight title on saturday night after defeating Takam at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff.

Anthony Joshua who sustained an injury to the nose during the second round of the fight, managed to put up a brave fight to resist his fierce Cameroonian opponent.

He brutally knocked out Takam in the 10th round to complete a perfect unbeaten record.

Joshua has further proven himself the knock out specialist with last night’s win which also marked his 20th knock out victory.

Takam was picked to fight with Anthony Joshua as a replacement for injured Kubrat Pulev, who was initially scheduled to fight the British Boxer.
