African champions, Cameroon settled or a 1-1 draw with Australia in the Confederations Cup Group B match played on Thursday in St Petersburg.
Both teams came into the game hoping for a win having failed to win their opening games, but had to share the spoils after an end-to-end game.
Andre Anguissa put Cameroon ahead after scoring a stoppage-time goal in the first-half.
However, Cameroon’s lead was short lived as Australia leveled the scores after a penalty was given for a foul on Alex Gersbach which was converted by Mark Milligan.
This draw has knocked on the head, any chance of the two teams going through to the next stage.
