Mugabe’s resignation sparks wild celebrations in Harare

The resignation of President Robert Mugabe of Zimbabwe has sparked wild jubilation across the capital, Harare Robert Mugabe, on Tuesday resigned as the President of Zimbabwe shortly after his impeachment was deliberated upon by parliament. The 93-year old leader had insisted on continuing his nearly 40 years of rule days after he was deposed by the ruling ZANU-PF party following an army takeover which kept him under house arrest. . Wild celebrations erupted during the joint sitting of parliament after Speaker Jacob Mudenda announced Mugabe’s decision to resign, ending the impeachment procedure.

Finally, Banky W has reacted to Ebuka Obi-Uchendu’s outfit to his wedding. Ebuka practically stole the show at BankyW and Adesua’s traditional wedding ceremony which held over the weekend with his superb Agbada outfit. Banky admits that at some point he was momentarily confused as to who was getting married between him and Ebuka. He however says he would be prepared for Ebuka at the white wedding; “I was genuinely momentarily confused as to which of us was the groom… Lol.. West Bromwich Albion sacks manager, Tony Pulis

English Premier League club, West Bromwich Albion have announced the sacking of Head Coach, Tony Pulis Tony Pulis’ contract was terminated on Monday following West Bromwich’s poor outing against Chelsea in the EPL on Saturday. Former Vice President Alex Ekwueme is dead!

Former Vice President of Nigeria, Dr Alex Ekwueme is dead. The news of his Death was announced in a statement issued by his family and signed by his brother and Igwe Laz Ekwueme, traditional ruler of Oko in Anambra State. According to the statement, Dr. Ekwueme, 85 died around 10:00 pm on Sunday in a clinic in London The statement read: “Ekwueme family regrets to announce the peaceful passing away of their patriarch, the former Vice-President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria Dr. Alex Ifeanyichukwu Ekwueme GCON. “The sad event occurred at the London Clinic at 10:00 pm on Sunday 19th November 2017.” The former Vice President had slumped in his Enugu residence some weeks ago and was consequently taken to the Memfys Neurosurgery Hospital in Enugu. EPL: Chelsea secure comfortable win over West Brom

Eden Hazard scored a brace to inspire Chelsea to a 4-0 victory over West Brom at the Hawthorns on Saturday. Alvaro Morata was quick to slot in Hazard’s parried shot at goal to open the scoring for Chelsea in the 17th minute. Arsenal secured a 2-0 win over London rivals,Tottenham on Saturday to cast doubts on talks of a power shift in North London following the superb run of form of Mauricio Pochettino men in recent times. Another bomb blast attack rocks Borno state

According to reports emanating from Borno state this evening, another bomb blast has occurred in the state. It is reported that suicide bombers attacked a mosque located in the Muna garage area of the State on Wednesday. The attack reportedly took place at the mosque during the magrib (sunset) prayer. Robert Mugabe’s 37-year old grip on power brought to an end after bloodless military coup

Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe, has been axed out of office through a bloodless military coup d’etat. The country’s ruling Zanu-PF party confirmed the end of Mugabe’s 37-year iron grip on power via its Twitter handle on Wednesday. Mugabe and his wife were arrested by the army on Tuseday in Harare.
