Constitutional Amendment: Sen. Sani Shehu Accuses Colleagues Of Voting To Only Keep Their ‘Mini Thrones’

The Nigerian Senate, on Wednesday, July 26th commenced the amendment of the 1999 Constitution.

The senators voted to make amendments on some sections of the 1999 constitution as part of the ongoing constitutional reforms process.

However, one of the Senators, Shehu Sani who also took part in voting, has alleged that many of his fellow Senators did not vote in the best interest of the country, but rather they only voted to maintain their mini thrones.

Senator Shehu made the claim in a post he made on his facebook page.
