Nigeria’s richest Man, Alhaji Aliko Dangote has stated his position on the widely condemned quit notice issued to Igbos in the North by a group of northern youths
The billionaire businessman has attributed the reason for the Northern youth group’s quit notice move to joblessness
Dangote stated this while speaking to a team of business executives from the Lagos Business School when they paid him a visit at his Lekki refinery and petrochemical projects in Lagos.
According to him, “Some guys who have no relevance and values came out to issue a warning that Igbo should leave the North.
‘I am surprised everybody started talking about this nonsense. Why are we talking about it?
“Obviously, in a place where there is a lot of joblessness, it is expected that this kind of jobless people would come out with all sorts of anger.
“We understand the reasons why they are angry, but they cannot justify their action when they have decided not to work.
“They only issue senseless warning to keep themselves relevant,” Nation quoted him.
He further assured that upon completion of his refinery project, thousands of direct and indirect jobs would be created for the youths of the country.
