It’s an opportunity to share moments with people across globe and get it viewed by thousands, millions, and even billions. It can be movies, music videos, funny videos, inspirational videos, workouts, makeup tutorials etc. YouTube is home to millions of different kinds of videos. As of today May 30, 2017 these are the five most viewed videos on YouTube.

1 “Gangnam Style” (Music video)

This is a music video by Korean recording artist Psy. It is a song that parodies the life style of Gangnam district in South Korea. The video “pokes fun at the style of Seoul’s Gangnam-gu, a flashy district with high rents, high expectations, and a focus on the high- states lifestyle. It was released July 15, 2012 and till date it has amassed a viewership of 2.8billion views. This makes it the most viewed YouTube video.

2 “See You Again” (Music video)

Whiz Khalifa

The song and music video was inspired by the unprecedented death of  the Fast and Furious American actor; Paul Walker in a single vehicle accident on November 30, 2013 in Valencia California. The song is a tribute to him by Wiz Khalifa featuring Charlie Puth. It was released April 16, 2015 and since then till now, it has a total view of 2.7billion.

3 “Sorry” (Music video)

Justin Bieber

“Sorry” is a song by Canadian singer Justin Bieber with the theme of plea for a second chance from his lover to redeem himself. It was released October 23, 2015. It has 2.5billion views on YouTube making it the third most viewed videos on the site.

4 “Up Town Funk” (Music video)

Bruno Mars

This is a song by American singer and songwriter Bruno Mars. The song was released November 10, 2014. It has a viewership of 2.4 billion making it the fourth most viewed YouTube video of all time.

5 Masha and the Bear

This is a Russian animated television series created by Oleg Kuzovkov and produced by Ammaccord Animation Studio (Moscow, Russia). The story focuses on a little girl named Masha and a fatherly bear that always keep her from disaster. The first episode “How They Met” premiered January 18, 2009 and uploaded January 31, 2012. It has a cumulative of 2.1billion views.
