Ex Super Eagles captain and goalkeeper, Vincent Enyeama, has been asked to leave his current club, Lille.
According to reports, the Nigerian footballer and 10 other players were sent a text by the newly appointed coach of Lille, Marcelo Bielsa, telling them that they would no longer be needed in the club
This is coming even after the former super eagles captain penned a new contract with the French club last season.
According to reports, Enyeama, who has 101 caps for the Super Eagles, is likely going to be replaced by new summer signing, Herve Koffi – goal keeper of the Burkina Faso National team.
Other African players sacked alongside Enyeama include Marko Basa, Eder, Marvin Martin. Julian Palmieri, Lenny Nangis, Éric Bauthéac, and Rio Mavuba.
According to the club, the players will not be joining the squad for pre-season training which begins on the 3rd of July.
