Ex-Super Eagles forward, Peter Osaze Odemwingie turns 36 today.
Osaze was Born on the 15th of July 1981 in Russia to a Nigerian Father and Russian mother .
Growing up, Odemwinge shuttled between Nigeria and Rusia, starting off his footballing career in the Nigeria Premier League with Bendel Insurance Football club.
He then moved to Belgian side La Louvière before earning a move to Lille in the French league.
Odemwingie’s 26 goals for Lille saw Lokomotiv Moscow sign him for a fee around £10 million f in July 2007.
After spending three-and-a-half years with the Russian club, he made a move to West Bromwich Albion in the English Premier League in 2010. He went on to score a record 30 goals for the Baggies and also won the Premier League Player of the Month awards on three different occasions that season.
After a stint with Cardiff City and Stoke City, Odemwinge moved to Madura United in the Indonesian Liga 1 where he currently plays.
He made over 60 appearances for the Nigerian National team after making his debut in 2002.
