Liverpool further deepened the woes of Slaven Bilic’s West Ham after defeating the West-London side 4-1 on their own turf.
Two quick goals from liverpool’s Mohamed Salah and Joel Matip put the Merseyside team ahead at half-time.
West Ham’s Manuel Lanzini, however, halved the deficit few minutes into the second half but Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain’s debut Liverpool goal 57 seconds later made sure Lazini’s goal did not count for much.
With just 15 minutes left to the end of normal time, Salah managed to score again, doubling his tally for the night
This result levels Jurgen Klopp’s side on points with Arsenal and Chelsea who both have a game in hand, and leaves West Ham just a point above the relegation zone.
