Boss Mustapha, Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), today visited ailing Vice President Alex Ekwueme in London where he is currently receiving treatment in a hospital.
Ekwaueme, 85, was yesterday, November 12 airlifted to a London hospital for treatment.
President Muhamadu Buhari had approved for the former Vice President to be flown abroad after he suffered a chest infection which led to his sudden collapse at his Enugu home weeks ago.
He was initially taken to an Enugu-based hospital for immediate treatment when the incident occurred
SGF Boss Mustapha, who was received by wife of the former vice President, Helen Ekwzueme, conveyed the goodwill of the President to the ailing elder statesman.
He stated that the President and indeed Nigerians are praying for the elder statesman to recover speedily, noting that that he trusts the doctors were doing their best to ensure that he gets better soon.
