IPOB: 6 underage members allegedly charged for murder

Six underage members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) have been remanded in Aba Prisons by an Aba North Chief Magistrate Court over alleged murder, arson and theft. In charge No., MAN/ 137C/ 2017, Commissioner of Police vs Emmanuel John and 9 others, the suspects; Chidiebube Ngozi, 15; Ebuka Sampson, 15; Isaiah Bassey , 15; David Okoro, 15; Ubabuko Tochukwu,15; OLuebube Okeke,15, arraigned on a 10 count charge, were alleged to have committed the offence punishable under sections 516A, 443(1), 451(6) (b), 390(9) , 290 (9), and 427 of the criminal code cap 80 , volume III Laws of Abia State of Nigeria 2005. The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu, on Sunday boasted that nobody could re-arrest him and anyone who tries to arrest him in the South-East will not leave alive. He disclosed this while speaking at the Boys Technical College in Aba, Abia State, shortly after the Federal Government, on Friday, announced its decision to ask the court to revoke Mr. Kanu’s bail for allegedly violating bail conditions including the directive not to address a crowd.
