Tottenham got back to winning ways in the EPL on Sunday after a 1-0 victory over Crystal Palace at Wembley
After what seemed like an eventless first half, Heung-min Son offered a rare moment of composure to hand Spurs the lead in the 64th minute.
Son managed to take advantage of a skewed clearance from Yohan Cabaye at the near post to curl a superb effort into Palace’s net.
Son’s effort would later turn out to be the only goal of the game after Wilfried Zaha had failed to put Palace ahead earlier in the game when he spurred a glorious chance at goal – probably the biggest miss of the season so far.
The win put Spurs on level points with Manchester United ahead of the Red Devils’ Stamford Bridge clash with Chelsea later in the day.
Meanwhile, Crystal Palace still remain five points clear off the relegation zone heading into the international break.
